Shipping & delivery

Door-to-door delivery anywhere in South Africa. Here's exactly what to expect — by sourcing class.

Overview

Class A: 2–5 business days from SA warehouse. Class B: 25–45 days door-to-door (Direct Import). Class C: 5–10 days from SA supplier. Free shipping on Class A orders over R 1,500.

1. Class A — Ready to Ship

Orders dispatched from our Johannesburg warehouse via Aramex, Pudo or The Courier Guy:

  • Major centres (Joburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, PE, Bloem): 2–3 business days
  • Regional towns: 3–5 business days
  • Outlying areas: 4–7 business days (Pudo Locker option available)

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination postcode. Typical R 65–R 165 for parcels under 5 kg. Free over R 1,500.

2. Class B — Direct Import

Class B orders are sourced direct from a Chinese factory and shipped door-to-door:

  • Production: 5–20 days (varies per product and quantity — shown on listing)
  • Sea freight: 18–25 days (Shanghai/Shenzhen → Durban/Cape Town)
  • Air cargo: 5–7 days (premium option, available on request)
  • Customs clearance: 2–5 days (handled by BestDealz)
  • Last-mile to your door: 2–4 days

The listed price is all-inclusive — duty, VAT, freight and last-mile are already in the price. No surprise bills at customs.

3. Class C — SA Drop-Ship

Class C suppliers ship directly to you from their own warehouse:

  • Lead time depends on supplier — typically 5–10 business days, shown at checkout
  • You receive tracking once the supplier dispatches
  • BestDealz monitors all Class C shipments and intervenes if a supplier is late

4. Free shipping

Class A orders over R 1,500 ship free within South Africa. Class B prices already include landed cost. Class C suppliers may offer their own free-shipping thresholds — shown on the product page.

6. Delivery attempts

If you're out, the courier:

  • Leaves a note and re-attempts the next business day (most couriers do 2 attempts)
  • You can reschedule directly with the courier via the tracking link
  • After 3 failed attempts, the parcel returns to us — no extra charge to reship on the 1st return

7. Addresses we ship to

We ship to physical addresses only — homes, offices, warehouses. We don't deliver to PO boxes (couriers won't accept them).

Currently we serve South Africa only. Other SADC countries on the roadmap for 2026.

8. If your order is late

Lead times are estimates, not guarantees, but we credit you when we miss SLA:

  • Class A late by > 3 business days: 10% account credit + priority on next order
  • Class B late by > 7 days vs promised: 5% credit (auto-applied)
  • Lost in transit: full refund or reship, your choice

9. On delivery

Please inspect parcels before signing for them:

  • If a parcel looks crushed, torn or wet, refuse it — the courier returns it to us, you get a refund automatically
  • If damage is internal, photograph and report within 48 hours via your dashboard
