Verification questions

Is verification free?
Yes — entirely free. We don't charge for any step of onboarding.
What documents do I need for an SA supplier?
CIPC company registration, ID of all directors, recent bank confirmation letter (under 3 months old), proof of business address (utility bill / lease), and VAT registration if applicable. SARS B-BBEE certificate is optional but enables preferential placement.
What documents do I need for a Chinese supplier?
Business licence (营业执照), tax registration certificate, factory / warehouse photos with signage, company stamp, recent bank statement, and a copy of the legal representative's ID. We provide a bilingual checklist.
What if my application is rejected?
We always provide a written reason and an opportunity to address it (e.g. missing documents, low-quality samples). Most rejections are fixable. After resubmission, we re-review within 2 business days.
Can I see other suppliers in my category before I apply?
Yes — browse the public supplier directory to see who's already listed. We don't restrict competition; we believe diverse supply benefits buyers.
What happens if I lose my verified status?
You receive 14 days' written notice with the specific reason (e.g. dispute rate > 5%, on-time below 85%). You can fix the issue and re-apply for verification — usually a 7-day re-check. Listings stay live but lose the verified badge during this window.
